Looking
for Direct TV Canada - Why can’t I find it?
If
you’ve been trying to find Direct TV Canada, there is a
good reason why you can’t find it.
DirecTV is not licensed to provide satellite
service in Canada. There
are alternatives.
(To skip
our Direct TV Canada comments and go directly to our site
which provides links to other satellite choices than
Direct TV Canada, click here)
Although
you cannot legally receive Direct TV Canada, there are two
authorized distributors of direct to home satellite
service in Canada. They are Star Choice Communications
Inc. and Bell
Expressvu LP.
StarChoice is a wholly owned subsidiary of Shaw
Communications while Bell Expressvu is a branch of Bell
Canada.
You may
know people who claim to have Direct TV Canada, and they
might well receive DirecTV. It can be received by on your
home satellite system with the use of an access card.
Since Direct TV Canada is not legal, you must buy
an illegal “test card”; there are many sources on the
Internet.
There is
no need to go to illegal means to obtain excellent quality
direct to home satellite service that would be comparable
to or exceed Direct TV Canada. Check both providers on the web and you can also shop for a
local company which can provide and install all the
necessary equipment to have you watching satellite TV from
your own home.
