network com: Do it yourself installation
With a
dish network com satellite TV system, you'll always find
something on TV that you and your family thoroughly enjoy.
Why settle for something that just happens to be on? But
has your dish network com been installed properly? We'll
discuss this more below.
(If you
wish to skip dish network com tips and go directly to our
website that has all the lowest prices and best packages
on the Internet, click here)
If you're
the kind of person who's handy and likes the satisfaction
of doing it yourself then let your
dish network com provider give you with everything
you need to make a standard installation go smoothly.
They'll send you a complete installation kit "free
of charge". While the kit includes all
components necessary for the installation, they do offer
an extensive array of satellite and installation
accessories to assist you in your time of need. Take a
look at the
kit's "tips & tricks" if you need a
better idea of the installation or hook-up of your new
system.
To set up
your dish network com receiver and TV - only,
follow these guidelines. Your satellite dish is mounted
outside your building and wired directly into the room you
have chosen. A coaxial cable runs from the plate on the
wall to the satellite RECEIVER (SATELLITE IN). Another
coaxial cable runs from your satellite RECEIVER (TV SET
OUT) to the TV (ANT/VHF IN). Make sure your satellite
RECEIVER is set to the same default channel as your TV is
tuned to (Channel 3 or 4). Both settings are located on
the back of the equipment as a little, black, toggle
switch.
Labeling
your wiring may be the single most important thing you do
when assembling your dish network com satellite and home
theater system. Should it become necessary to remove any
component for any reason, the wires are marked and ready
for reinstallation without any gymnastics or contortions
to find their source. Kits for labeling are cheap and
readily available. Some you can write your own labeling
on, others are prewritten.
With a
dish network com you'll pay less money for more
entertainment while you enjoy crystal-clear digital
pictures and crisp, clean CD-quality sound. There are over
200 channels to choose from, and you get to pick the
unbeatable program package that best fits your
entertainment needs.
